Hey Pradeep, May be its just the audio.
I usualy get my highs on rock shows and this time i couldnt even take off.

Yeah Lukas,
guess you are right. Ian Anderson was the last man standing from the original Jethro Tull band. May be, this show was not truly a Tull show because of the absence of the rest of the dingbats.

Honestly it had nothing to do the their songs...I managed to get a free copy of TAAQ's CD - Plan B which was distributed at the IIM B grounds. Though I havent heard TAAQ before, i think it must be granted to them for having earned a place for themselves to be the opening act for TULL. Did you know they also opened for Deep Purple in Bangalore in 2001. Anyways...The album had some pretty decent songs...The lyrics were pretty decent and quite striking in some places.

I guess the problem was with the audio...The show had very poor audio...many have not said that but I felt it was a shame listening to TULL and not being able to really tell the words even from his most popular songs... I was shocked when, standing there right in front I cudnt decipher anything from My Sunday feeling...but then the flute solo and the others really made up for it...

It was a pity that way...but hey who cares It was TULL and it was Magic!!!
Mebbe, I wondered sometime later, after the show if it would have been worth tring to get one of those 1500 tickets for the Mumba leg of the show earlier...mebbe another time!!!
