Bug? : Traditionally, Address Books are listed alphabetically in Mobile Phones and Handheld devices. Based on my Frequency of Use, I realized that, (about 90% of the time) i tend to send SMSs, to 10 of my close friends and relatives. Sometimes, zeroing-in on a specific item from this never- ending-alphabetically-sorted-list becomes a pain in the you-know-what.
Hack : I usually prefix the ‘contact list items’ with 0s, 1s and 2s, so that, they appear on top of the list. Think Users would appreciate a feature which would give them the freedom to sort Address Book based on a parameter like “Frequency of Use”.
In Real Life, Users tend to prefix their the music folder names with 0s ans 1s, so that they get to hear their favorite folders and songs in a particular order.
For Advanced/Expert users, an option should be available to sort Phone- Books based on “Frequency of Use”

I have another trick.
eg. if i have Maria, Moss, Muthu in my address book in that order and Muthu is my “frequently used” contact, i put a space after M (M uthu) to bring him to the first of my M list. So that next time i browse for M, Muthu will be the first contact to appear.
I like my Nokia 6510 for being simple without many features in it. But it allows me to put in hacks of my own creativity to use it as i like.
Ofcourse u said “For Advanced/Expert users”. The “Frequency of Use” feature is very useful (i use it in gmail contact) and can be available in some digged down location.
Interesting trick!
I’ve already started using it.
Thanks
