Look Ma, All App and No Code!

YUI simply rocks! Yahoo also serves up code for FREE! ( But err…. if you use code directly from Yahoo’s servers, you are likely to encounter some latency)

Here’s a wierd idea on what Yahoo can do next with YUI… Come up with http://designer.yahoo.com/yui

Build an WYSIWYG IDE (could be web based) based on YUI, for designers who cant hard-code and
enable them to build web 2.0 kinda front end apps ( atleast prototypes), by dragging and dropping components. ( Just like how Dreamweaver enabled designers to design HTML pages without writing code). Yahoo can also create readymade Web 2.0 app templates. What say?

Great idea. Is yahoo listening?

Nate, thanks for dropping in! I’ve been working on a simple app using yui for a while.

CSS Grid builder tool is awesome. If the coloumn-width/height and other parameters are made editable on the fly, then it would rock even more.

Will add “feature requests” at Sourceforge.net

Umesh, just signed up for Popfly, guess it would take a while for them to grant me access. Did you get access as yet?
